Sheraton Raleigh Hotel - Located in the Heart of Downtown Raleigh, the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel is at the

Pre-Convention Tour - "After Four Long Years" Located in Durham, The Bennett Place State Historic Site
will be the destination for the Pre-Convention tour. Beginning with a tour of Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh, guests will
then travel to Durham to visit the Bennett Place. The Visitor's Center includes a museum, auditorium, and gift shop. The
movie "Dawn of Peace" will be shown which is the site's premiere film followed by a tour of the Bennett House.
Re-enactors will be on site for demonstration. A BBQ lunch will be catered on the grounds in the picnic area.
Magazine Luncheon - "Lunch with Mrs. Mary Anna Jackson" Enjoy this special presentation!
Men's Tour -"Take a Trip to Fayetteville" - Visit the Airborne and Special Operations Museum as well as the
Welcome and Historical Evening

Post Convention Tour - "A Special Outing in Eastern North Carolina" End your visit in the Tar Heel
state with this educational and fun tour! A day trip down east will bring you to Kinston, home of The CSS Neuse Civil
War Interpretive Center which tells Eastern North Carolina’s Civil War story with the Confederate ironclad as its
centerpiece. Then discover NC wines at the winery that jump started the industry in North Carolina - Duplin Winery -
including a tour, tasting and food!
Silent Auction - held on Sunday evening with items to raise money for the Memorial Building Endowment
Hotel Information - Sheraton Raleigh Hotel, 421 South Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC downtown Raleigh and is
convenient to Interstate 40 and US Hwy 1. If you are a Starwood Preferred Guest, you can earn Starpoints for this
eligible stay. Services at a glance include dry cleaning service, indoor heated pool, high speed internet access, on-site
transportation, 100% non-smoking.
Reservations - To make reservations, call 1-800-325-3535 and specify "2015 General UDC" to obtain the special
convention rate of $139 per night for up to 2 in a room, $149 for 3 in a room, and $159 for 4 in a room plus tax.
Reservation deadline is October 4, 2015. Note: Each attendee reservation will require a one night stay deposit
equal to the group rate plus tax. This deposit will be charged to the individual's credit card at the time of booking.
The deposit is refundable provided the attendee cancels and only if notice is received 48 hours prior to arrival date.
Any group attendee who departs from the hotel earlier than their confirmed departure date will be charged an early
departure fee of $75.
Transportation - The Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is served by seven Terminal 1 - AirTran and
Terminal 2 - Air Canada, American Airlines, Continental, Delta, JetBlue, United, US Airways, Vision Airlines
Ground Transportation - Raleigh-Durham International Airport offers passengers a variety of transportation options,
ranging from taxi and limousine service to rental cars and shuttle buses. RDU offers connections to local bus and train
